About mrs. Riley
Hello,
My name is Michelle Riley and I am art teacher for both Caldwell Heights. This will be my eleventh year in RRISD. Prior to teaching art, I taught first grade for 6 years in RRISD. I also worked in the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities. I am ESL and SPED certified along with my Generalist and Visual Art Certification. I can't wait to meet your child and help them learn and grow this year.
I was born and raised in Colorado and I am a mom to a fun loving two year old named Dylan Grace. I’m expecting a little boy this November! My husband teaches History in Leander and together we all live in Round Rock. I love to take photos, travel, paint, hike, run, and try out new foods when cooking. This summer I took a lot of time to travel and explore. I am always creating and I love experimenting with a variety of media and materials.
Fun Facts About Mrs. Riley:
- I have different colored eyes (I have a green eye and a brown eye).
- I have traveled to 19 different countries... I LOVE learning about other cultures through art.
- I made my first graffiti art this summer at the Hope Outdoor Gallery in Austin.
- I am very excited to be teaching art and I am looking forward to this upcoming year!
